Sydney grew up in Peterborough, ON and was involved in the Peterborough soccer community. Her passion for soccer and athletics led her to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph, where she played soccer for the Guelph Gryphons varsity team. Sydney continued her education at Queen’s University to complete her Master’s of Physiotherapy in 2022. During her time at Queen’s, she completed one of her clinical placements at Pulse, which solidified her desire to join the team. Before joining Pulse, Sydney worked as a rehabilitation assistant in both the Integrated Stroke Unit and Pulmonary Rehab Unit at the Peterborough Regional Health Center.
Sydney’s current practice uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, education, and tailored exercises. She collaborates with individuals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the primary complaints, prevent
re-injury, and enhance performance. In the future, she plans to advance her skills in sports injuries, concussion treatment, acupuncture, and dry needling.
During her time off, Sydney enjoys running, cycling, soccer, and spending time with her dog!
