Sports Team Training

Peterborough is a sports town. From the Lakers and Petes at the senior and junior levels, to the vibrant young athletes fueling local leagues, Peterborough eats, sleeps and dreams SPORTS. From day one of the planning phase, Pulse Physio & Performance – Lansdowne was designed with sports team training in mind.

This 6,000 square-foot facility boasts top-of-the-line fitness equipment, including: Rogue lifting stations, Rogue Echo bikes, an Assault self Propelled treadmill, a Concept 2 rower, dumbbells, kettlebells, agility ladders, climbing & battle ropes, plyo-boxes and hurdles, just to name a few. There is a large turf area with a drop-down batting cage that can be used for hitting and throwing baseballs, kicking soccer or rugby balls, taking shots at hockey or lacrosse nets, etc. This space allows for a combination of strength and skill work, keeping the sessions engaging while building the overall potential of each athlete.

Our goal is to help youth athletes reach their peak potential while showing them that the gym can be FUN! Our strength and conditioning team will work directly with your coaches and players to find potential gaps in their training plan. From there, we will design a tailored strength & conditioning program that addresses those gaps and ensures that each athlete has the greatest opportunity to avoid injury and perform at their best.
