Sarah was raised in Owen Sound, Ontario and grew up playing hockey from a young age. Her love for sports and exercise earned her a scholarship to Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, USA. While playing NCAA Division I hockey, Sarah completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in 2018; in Exercise Science and Athletic Training with a minor in Strength and Conditioning. She then went on to complete her degree in physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2020. She has additional training in sports concussion management and anatomical acupuncture.
Building on her experience as a high-performance athlete, Sarah has worked with many teams and high-level athletes and takes pride in enabling athletes of all abilities to get back to the game they love. She is a strong believer in the power of movement and loves to work with anyone wishing to accomplish their rehabilitation and fitness goals. Sarah’s goal is to help people realize their potential by giving them the tools to successfully manage their condition and to feel empowered to take control of their health and well-being.
Outside of the clinic, Sarah is the Team Physiotherapist for the Peterborough Petes OHL Hockey Team. She is also involved with our local Peterborough Ice Kats, helping coach the next generation of hockey goalies. She loves to hang out with her chocolate lab Auggie in her spare time.
